Booking and cancelling your practical training

All clinical trainings in Central Finland Health Care District are booked on http://www.jobiili.fi/. Browse through the ads and make sure you have all the necessary studies and skills required in each position. Discuss your clinical training arrangements with your teacher. When your teacher confirms your booking, your training is agreed on.

Workplace learning  as part of vocational upper secondary education is planned with the vocational schools. Central Finland Health Care District prioritises students of JAMK School of Health and Social Studies when giving out training positions. Our second priority is students of other Universities of Applied Sciences, and after that the students of vocational upper secondary schools.

You need to have an updated, active CV (curriculum vitae) on Jobstep in order to book your practical training. Your CV should include information on your studies and previous practical trainings, what they have taught you, and what you expect from your coming clinical training. This way our supervisors will be able to offer you an individually prepared plan. We recommend you contact the unit your training takes place in and agree on the time and place you start your training.  We recommend you familiarise yourself with the site before you start your training.

All cancellations should be made no later than two weeks before the intended training. For cancellations after that, a student supervision fee may be charged (for the entire training or a part of it).
